Quantum Recycling Solutions, is an Australian owned and operated e-waste recycling business established in 2014 with the aim of diverting the e-waste from landfill to a maximum possible extent, leaving behind a safe and hazard free environment for the future generation to live. Quantum is an environmentally conscious and committed to maintaining the highest standards of environmental management and pollution prevention in the industry through the application of our Environmental Management System (EMS). All employees ensure our activities are carried out in full compliance with our EMS, which has been based on and specifically designed to meet the principles and requirements of AS/NZS 5377 Standards. We liaise with various councils, educational institutions, small to large corporate organizations, providing a solution for either safe disposal or recycling of the end of life electronics.

The National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme(NTCRS) was established in 2011 to provide Australian householders and small business with access to industry-funded collection and recycling services for televisions and computers. AS/NZS 5377:2013 - Collection, storage, transport and treatment of end-of-life electrical and electronic equipment. The scheme was developed by the Australian Government Department of the Environment and the New Zealand Ministry of Environment to provide a uniform approach to assessing e-waste management systems. The scheme caters to four discrete activities in the e-waste industry. These are :• Collection and Storage facilities• Recovery for reuse from end-of-life electrical and electronic equipment• Transportation• Treatment of end-of-life electrical and electronic equipment

I have had the pleasure of working with Lokesh and the team at Quantum Recycling Services over the last 2 years whilst coordinating our ‘waste drop off day’. Working with Lokesh has been an absolute pleasure he is always available to offer solutions and additional resources. His team are so professional making it hard to believe that over 30 tonnes of electronic waste have been collected as they ensure the site is always kept clean and also make the extra effort in sorting all of the additional material such as cardboard and polystyrene. After contacting Quantum to dispose of 14 TV's that the College no longer requires it was arranged within days to come out and pick them up. On the day a phone call to me was made to advise what time the pickup was being done. The truck came in, picked up the TV's and left.The Quantum's staffs were very mindful of Students around when leaving. Whenever the need arises to dispose of more items I would not hesitate to call Quantum.
